Hi, I'm Michael Odom.
From age 13 to 22, I worked alongside my dad cutting grass in South Carolina. Those years taught me the value of hard work, showing up on time, and treating people right.
The road from there to Clean Cut Carpentry wasn't a straight line — it ran through Bible college, framing crews, a failed first business, and a lot of doors closed in my face. But every one of those seasons shaped how I work today.

Florida & the trades
I moved to Florida for Bible college and was introduced to construction. I spent three years framing houses — but grew frustrated with a culture that valued speed over craftsmanship.

A leap of faith
I started my first business. It failed within a year. I underbid jobs, struggled to keep work coming in, and learned hard lessons about business.

Door-to-door sales, customer service, communication, project management — and hearing "no" more times than I can count. It made me mentally tougher.
